The Shabwa authorities kidnap the son of the Yemen Today correspondent

On Tuesday, the Brotherhood's militia kidnapped the son of our colleague Zabin Attia, correspondent of the Yemen Today satellite channel in Shabwa governorate, and took him to an unknown destination.
Local sources said that the Brotherhood authorities in Shabwa kidnapped Tayseer Zabin Attia (13 years old) due to his father conveying the suffering of citizens in the governorate, in the context of his media career as a correspondent for the Yemen Today channel, which broadcasts from Cairo.
It was explained that a security force kidnapped the child, Tayseer Attia, after his father went to the Wadi Ataq neighborhood to transmit the voices of citizens protesting against the Shabwa authorities ’decision to demolish their popular homes.
Media and activists condemned the crime, and called on the Brotherhood authorities in Shabwa to immediately release the son of the Yemen Today reporter, and to stop the violations it practices against media professionals, journalists and activists in the governorate.
