Aden, NewsYemen:

On Sunday, the Houthi militia announced the conclusion of an "exchange deal" with the legitimacy in the governorate of Marib, which ordered the release of a number of prisoners.

Abdul Qadir al-Murtada, head of the Prisoners Affairs Committee of the Houthi militia, said that 18 prisoners of their group were freed today in an exchange process with the legitimacy in Marib, through local mediation.

No official statement was issued by the government side, but journalists and jurists in the Ma'rib governorate confirmed the exchange process and the reception of those released from Houthi prisons from the Al-Mahwit and Rayma governorates.

The number of released persons revealed by the veil conflicted, while lawyer and human rights activist Salim Allaw said that 36 prisoners and detainees were released from both sides, without specifying the number of those released from each side, one of the relatives of the released Khaled Ali Mahmoud Al-Qutaibi confirmed that the number of those released  32 prisoners shared equally between the legitimacy and the Houthis.

This deal comes in conjunction with the disappearance of the body of the martyr Abdul Ghani Shaalan, commander of the Special Security Forces in Marib, who was martyred, Friday, by Houthi fire in the Jabal al-Balq confrontations, west of the governorate.
