Aden, NewsYemen:

The spokesman for the Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said: The Houthi militia attack on Saudi Arabia is linked to the dictates of Iranian generals.

On Saturday evening and Sunday dawn, the coalition forces intercepted and destroyed one ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia towards the city of Riyadh, in addition to 6 "booby-trapped" drones that attempted to target civilian objects in a systematic and deliberate manner in the south of the Kingdom.

Al-Maliki added, in statements to Al-Arabiya, that the coalition has the capabilities to deal with threats targeting civilians, explaining that Iran's generals control militias in occupied Sana'a.

He stressed that the Arab coalition has the competence to monitor ballistic missiles and explosive drones when launched.

Al-Maliki said during his statements, "We reiterate once again that civilians are a" red line "if they are exposed to any harm.

He pointed out that the coalition's defenses had so far intercepted 526 drones and 346 ballistic missiles, explaining that "no country has intercepted this number of ballistic missiles and drones except for Saudi Arabia."

Al-Maliki stressed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is trying to link the Yemeni file with the current international changes.
