Shabwa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The Brotherhood’s authority in Shabwa governorate has detained dozens of fishermen for weeks, after it kidnapped them off the coast of the governorate and confiscated their boats.

Local sources told "NewsYemen" that the Muslim Brotherhood militia stationed in Bir Ali in the coastal city of Radoum had earlier arrested about 20 fishermen and confiscated their boats under the pretext of fishing in a "prohibited area."

It explained that the fishermen were kidnapped due to their usual activities at sea off the historic port of Qena, which is used by the Brotherhood's authority for smuggling operations.

Relatedly, the Brotherhood authority arrested the young Omar Hussein Al-Sweider, at one of the checkpoints of the so-called Special Forces in Shabwa governorate.

Local sources said that soldiers affiliated with the authority of the Muslim Brotherhood kidnapped the 17-year-old Al-Sweider from a checkpoint in Habban, and took him to an unknown destination.
