The Muslim Brotherhood had formed the Special Security Forces in Marib as an honest military force, and it was heavily armed with equipment that is only allocated to military units, and the number of this force reaches more than 10,000 individuals.
The Brotherhood uses these forces to suppress, insult, and threaten military leaders who do not owe allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood's military leaders in Marib, even if they are at the front of the ranks facing the Houthi militia.

The Atma resistance, which was formed inside Atma, and the Houthi militia also faced the exposure of its members to systematic targeting that prevented its leadership from framing individuals in a cohesive military unit, on the justification that these forces belong to the Congress Party, and their presence in a military unit poses a threat to the Brotherhood’s control of the military file in Marib.
During the past days, with the Houthi militia attack on Marib, members of the resistance in Ibb, Al-Radma, Raymah, Atma and Al-Bayda were involved in the battle to defend Marib, while all the Brotherhood leaders who were the ones who decided the fate of the army and its formations disappeared and delivered Nehm and Al-Jawf to the militias, and if it were not for the steadfastness of the Ma'rib tribes and the loyal champions of the army The Houthi militia would have fully controlled Marib.
While it defends Marib, along with its tribes and the free army, from the Muslim Brotherhood’s intention to exclude them in the past, the Brotherhood today praises the steadfastness of the fighters in Marib, and raises this steadfastness as it is the work of their forces that have already delivered Nihm and al-Jawf in defeat and a crime that today risks taking Marib.
