Then began campaigns of media and political targeting that turned the fields of war with the Houthi into arenas for political conflict between the partners in the war against him, so the United Arab Emirates decided to officially withdraw its army from Marib, and since its departure the fronts fell and the Houthi militia became on the outskirts of the city of Ma'rib after it took control of Al-Jawf and Nehm and a number of Marib directorates itself.
With the Houthi attack approaching the city, the collapse of the so-called National Army controlled by the Brotherhood, and the desperation of the tribes alone to defend the city, tribesmen, writers and activists demanded the return of the Emirati forces to support the tribes, lead the front and confront the threat threatening the city after the Brotherhood’s betrayals, the failure of their forces to participate and the disappearance of their national army.
Sheikh Ghalib bin Nasser, a tribal marabi, presented a proposal to form a tribal and political delegation that would urgently head to the United Arab Emirates and demand it to intervene and save the city from the attack of the pro-Iranian group.
Sheikh Kaalan said in his proposal, which he published on his own Facebook page: I apply to all the sheikhs and elders of the Ma'rib tribes, to the leadership of Ma'rib, and to all political parties in Marib, to form an urgent and urgent tribal and political delegation heading to the leadership of the United Arab Emirates This delegation consists of 10 sheikhs representing all the tribes of Marib and 10 political figures representing the political parties in Marib, and one of them represents the governor of Ma'rib and the youth component, and the delegation requests an urgent meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, and this delegation submits an official, popular and political request asking the Emirati leadership to support Marib and preserve On Marib, from the great Houthi attack, and we know and everyone knows the great role of the Emirati forces along with the Saudi forces in liberating the outskirts of Marib in 2015.
And Sheikh Ghalib Kaalan stated that the Emirati forces were distinguished by their professionalism in dealing with the battle at all operational, intelligence and logistical levels, indicating the importance of deciding on the formation of this Moroccan delegation within 48 hours.
Observers believe that the Emirati forces are the only ones who can save the city from falling and restore the soul of the fighters, given their tangible achievements on the ground on the fronts of the south and the western coast, and their and its allies' only victories against Iran's arm in Yemen.
Political writer Mahmoud Al-Salmi believes that the Houthi group will not be broken unless the UAE returns to lead military operations against it, indicating that all the victories achieved against the Houthi, including those in Marib, were due to the UAE leaders.

Activists from Mareb recalled what the Emirati forces had achieved in the governorate, stressing that the Brotherhood did not like the victories against their hidden ally, the Houthi, so they demonized Abu Dhabi and fought it, and even targeted it, and after its deportations they only reaped failure and fall, as if Marib fell the day the UAE army left the beginning.
