Marib, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The intensity of the battles increased between the army and tribes on one side, and the Houthi militia on the other hand, on the western fronts of the Ma'rib Governorate, east of Yemen, amid intense bombing by the Arab coalition fighters to support the government forces.

Military sources told NewsYemen that the army, backed by tribesmen, launched an attack on the Sirwah front in an attempt to regain sites that it had lost during the past two days, most notably the Kassara front.

As of Tuesday evening, the attack did not achieve any progress for the army, amid intense aviation raids on the sites of the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen.

On the mashjah front, a military source said that the army and tribes responded to an attack launched by the Houthi militia on sites on the front, killing about 30 Houthis in the confrontations, in addition to dozens of wounded.

The source indicated that three soldiers were killed and 8 others were wounded while repelling the attack.

Simultaneously, the army's artillery targeted fire sources on the same front and managed to extinguish them, destroying a weapons cache in its vicinity, which continued to explode for more than an hour.

The army and tribes forces also destroyed combat crews on their way to reinforce the Houthi militia, killing and wounding all those on board.
