Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The leader of the Southern Transitional Council, Nasr Al-Eisaei, said, "The role of the United Arab Emirates in the Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, was a pivotal role in all humanitarian, military and political fields, and they even provided their blood for Yemen."

Al-Eisaei added, in a special statement to "NewsYemen", that "the direct Emirati role in liberating the southern governorates through forces that participated on the ground with the southern forces was a model to be emulated, and our pride as Arabs. ".

He pointed out that the UAE, after liberating the southern regions, trained, equipped and supported the southern resistance forces until we reached the possession of security forces from belts and elites in most of the liberated southern governorates, and organized military forces that contributed to defeating the Houthis from the western coast down to the gates of Hodeidah port in western Yemen.

He also recalled the participation of the UAE, side by side with Saudi Arabia, in the process of liberating Marib, in northern Yemen, where the United Arab Emirates offered more than 40 martyrs of its sons.

Regarding the anti-terrorism file, Al-Essayi said: “The UAE in particular, and the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia in general, had a pivotal role in cleansing the liberated southern provinces of those terrorist elements, as Mukalla was liberated from al-Qaeda’s control by the elite forces and with the support of the coalition, as well as Aden, Abyan and even Shabwa, through the elite forces and the security belts. "

He continued, "The Shabwani elite had completely cleansed the governorate of terrorist elements, but after the Islah Brotherhood militia occupied Shabwa and the withdrawal of the elite forces from it, al-Qaeda and ISIS members returned to their activities in a remarkable manner, with the support and coverage of parties within Yemeni legitimacy."

While the leader of the transitional statement referred to the humanitarian effort of the Emirati Red Crescent in all the liberated Yemeni regions, he said in the context of his statement to "NewsYemen": "The Emirati contribution is great, and we cannot in our words recount what they have provided. What we have written is the tip of the iceberg."
