NewsYemen, Basem Ali:

Six years of leadership by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Operation Decisive Storm and the war of coalition and legitimacy against the Houthi militia has ended with the arrival of all those who follow this war to the complete conviction that the Kingdom fell into the trap of the Muslim Brotherhood.

This trap poses a danger to Riyadh that is no less dangerous than the presence of the Houthi militia on its borders to the south. Because the Muslim Brotherhood deliberately thwarted the mission of Riyadh specifically and the coalition and turned the war into a political, moral and military weapon against Riyadh and not against the Houthis.

Today, Riyadh faces a fierce international pressure campaign, because of its war in Yemen, and persistent attempts to lift the kingdom's hand from Yemen .. Although this will not find acceptance with Riyadh, the pressure and the international targeting campaign on the Kingdom are not easy.

The Brotherhood is watching this campaign with great pleasure, because they are working to involve new regional players in the Yemeni scene, such as Turkey, along with Tehran, and the Brotherhood’s celebration of the return of the Democrats to the White House and the decision-making center in the United States of America.

Riyadh provided a lot of support and is still fighting fronts in which forces affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood are fighting in Yemen ... from Saada to Midi to Ma'rib, Al-Jawf and Nehm Sanaa, along 3 military zones, namely the fifth, sixth and seventh.

However, all this tremendous support was reaching outdated tools that do not have the slightest national or even moral responsibility to operate professionally in the event that the national conflict is absent.

Early on, the Brotherhood sided with Qatar at the beginning of the Qatari Gulf crisis and Qatar's departure from the coalition, and the organizations, monitors and activists associated with the Brotherhood worked to submit reports to international organizations aimed at demonizing the coalition and all its activities in Yemen.

Instead of reaching Sanaa and reclaiming the stolen state, the Brotherhood opened side battles to liberate the south from its people, devoted their forces to Shabwa to control it, withdrew forces from Nihm to Abyan and handed over Al-Jawf to the Houthis and set up their bases in Shaqra.

The situation was not limited to the military side, but the most dangerous thing the Muslim Brotherhood did was demonize the Arab alliance and strike the moral standing of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi in the minds of the people of the North and many of their followers in the South as well, and with their organized and systematic campaigns, they turned Riyadh into an occupier of Yemen.

Riyadh received all the escapees from the Brotherhood leaders and even non-leading Brotherhood members, and opened their land and treasuries for them, and when the dispute began with Qatar they leaked like water to join those who preceded them to some capitals and form cells and conduct a fierce media, human and political war against the Kingdom and the UAE that did not stop until the Houthi militias approached the doors Marib.

The Brotherhood formed the other face of the Houthis by their war on the kingdom ... The Brotherhood’s war was more severe and painful .. tampering with the fronts, tampering with the legitimacy, tampering with the liberated areas, and tampering with the war against the coup file completely, turning Riyadh into a drowning in the swamp of the Brotherhood.

Riyadh had and still has options to overcome the Brotherhood’s failure and thwart every Saudi move in Yemen. However, Riyadh’s insistence on enabling its old and outdated tools to manage the military file and the legitimacy file made it pay a heavy price.

The Saudi-funded Brotherhood army evaporated, Nihm and al-Jawf fell, the Houthis approached the capital of Marib, and the tribes led the war for a whole year of confrontations, and the Brotherhood continues to present themselves as leaders of battles and steadfastness, while those who fight are tribes and groups of national soldiers who are not linked to the guidance of the General Guide and princes Brotherhood on the fronts.

Did Riyadh realize the enormity of the loss it suffered from the betrayal and conspiracy of the Muslim Brotherhood against it ... Plunging Riyadh into the quagmire of failure and the incitement of the international community was due to the kingdom handing over the reins of war management and legitimacy to leaders it considers its allies, while the Brotherhood can only work in the interest of his group and the pledge of allegiance that is in its neck?
