Huge fires devour the black market of oil derivatives in Sanaa

Huge fires broke out today, Saturday, in a black market for oil derivatives in Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm, in Yemen.

Eyewitnesses told "NewsYemen", that huge fires devoured a large market for oil derivatives, on Marib Street, Saraf, north of the capital.

They indicated that columns of flame from the site of the fire, while thick clouds of smoke covered the sky.

According to local sources, the black market belongs to merchants associated with senior leaders of the Houthi militia.

Sanaa is witnessing a heavy spread of black markets for selling oil derivatives at exorbitant prices, amid a stifling derivatives crisis and the lack of fuel in the selling market and official filling stations.
