Two years have passed since his left foot was amputated and his right foot was broken, leaving a permanent disability that accompanies the child "Ahmed" for life, and for most of his dreams remain to go back to walking on his feet.
On a bloody day in the year 2019 AD, specifically on March 2, the child (Ahmed Muhammad Yusef Marzouki); While herding sheep near the Tuhayta city water project, south of Hodeidah, a Houthi mortar fell that could turn Ahmed into a lifelong handicapped and deprived him of his legitimate rights.
Ahmed survived a heinous massacre that almost claimed his life, while his only wish was to treat his right foot and obtain a prosthetic for the left. To be able to walk to school to complete his studies, which stopped at the fourth grade, and this requires money that his family does not own and does not think it will in the short term.

Activist Samir Akhdar says: Marzouki was wounded on a bloody day when the Iranian-backed militias rained more than 15 mortar shells on the city of At-Tuhayta while he was grazing sheep alongside the Tuhayta water project, and he was seriously injured. His left foot had been amputated, all the veins and nerves in his right foot had been picked up, and he was now unable to move it. Adding, on this bloody day, two children were martyred, and ten were wounded.
Akhdar denounced and denounced the militia’s crimes and said: We are the sons of Tuhayat. We call on the United Nations and the international community to include the Houthi militia in the list of terrorism and classify it as a terrorist organization. The fact that the militias do not differentiate between children, women, the elderly and the displaced, and they always and daily target all civilians and bomb them indiscriminately, without mercy and relentlessly.
