The Socialist Party denounces the reform mobilization towards the south

A leading source in the Yemeni Socialist Party Organization in Taiz governorate warned against continuing to build illegal military entities, and from any irresponsible military mobilizations that carry goals that do not relate to the issues of people in Taiz and their suffering due to the continued siege on the city and the bombing of residential neighborhoods.
In a statement to the party-affiliated Al-Muwatin website, the source denounced the military build-ups in Tur Al-Baha in Lahj governorate and related to Taiz governorate, as well as the process of promoting the military establishment and the establishment of irregular military entities, and the continuation of the numbering in the military institution outside the legal rules and standards that regulate the process of joining the army. And security, which further complicates the structural problem in the army and security establishment.
The source emphasized that the Socialist Party Organization in Taiz rejected any mobilization that carries messages and connotations that threaten the security of citizens and residents of the southern governorates, pointing out that reckless and irresponsible behavior is usually paid by simple people.
The source considered that the recent military moves in some areas of Taiz and the creation of camps in the villages and in the vicinity of the governorate are today undermining the Riyadh Agreement, a threat to the societal fabric and its unity, a resumption of the series of intra-vain and civil wars, and an impediment to the possibilities of building a lasting and sustainable peace on the basis of the consensual political process and the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue.
The source stressed the rejection of resorting to force and military mobilization in dealing with national problems and political differences in favor of pursuing dialogue as an effective way, and the best and safest option to confront the various problems.
The leading source in the socialism of Taiz called upon the political, civil, trade union and popular forces in the governorate to confront civil and civilized people, rejecting all reckless and irresponsible behavior that undermines the process of building a professional national army. The source also warned of the consequences of proceeding with the issuance of appointment decisions outside the consensus process and standards of competence and integrity, stressing the need to initiate a process of real reform of the presidency and liberating appointment decisions from the monopoly of certain power centers.
