The STC delegation concludes its visit to Russia ... and Al-Kathiri: fruitful results

The delegation of the Southern Transitional Council, headed by Council Chairman Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, on Thursday, concluded its official visit to the Russian Federation.
The spokesman of the Council, Ali Al-Kathiri, confirmed, in a press statement, that the discussions with officials in the Russian Federation were constructive and fruitful, as the positions and visions were congruent towards the need to advance a comprehensive peace process that would accommodate all issues and parties, with the issue of the people of the south being at the fore in order to achieve the aspirations and goals of the southerners under the leadership of the Council. He pointed out that the leadership of the Council conducted a series of successful and fruitful meetings with officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Council of the Federation and the Russian Duma, as well as met with an elite of scholars and researchers interested in southern affairs, adding that this visit constituted a qualitative development in the Council's relationship with Russia.
The STC spokesman described the results of Al-Zubaidi's talks with officials in the Russian Federation that they were constructive and fruitful, stressing in this regard the congruence of positions and visions between the two sides regarding the need to advance a comprehensive peace process in Yemen that would accommodate all issues and parties, and at the forefront of which is the issue of the people of the South, in order to achieve aspirations and goals Southerners, led by the Southern Transitional Council.
Al-Kathiri concluded by saying that "this visit constituted a qualitative development in the relationship of the Southern Transitional Council with friends in the Russian Federation."
