Security sources reported to "NewsYemen" that, on Thursday, the Security Belt Forces carried out a chase operation against an unknown boat on the coasts of Al-Khobar and Saeed Fort, east of Shakra city in Abyan governorate, southern Yemen.
It explained that the pursuit came after the boats tried to enter the coastal area.
The staff of the Coastal Brigade "Security Belt", Colonel Ahmed Soban, stated that his forces had spotted a modern white boat floating off the coast of Shakra, and immediately began approaching it to find out his identity, but it escaped due to his quick capabilities.
"The newly built small yacht ran away upon witnessing the arrival of the coastal defense forces," Soban added. "We only have our simple capabilities of small boats."
