The sale of empty bottles of oils in Mocha is a trade that has been booming over the past months due to the increasing demand for it.
Most of the buyers of 20-liter bottles use them to transport oil derivatives to areas bordering the control of terrorist militias, or to refuel when traveling to cities under the militia's control without having to buy them there at their high prices.
This is because its capacity is easy to transport to areas close to militia control or those that large transport trucks avoid entering for fear of being targeted.
In one of the plastic stores in Mokha, many of them were stacked on top of each other, while their owner was waiting for customers to buy them.
Walid al-Khulaidi, one of the store's workers, says he buys one of them at a price that ranges from 500 to 1,000 riyals.
He adds that he is selling it at a price of two thousand riyals, and the increasing demand for its use in transporting petroleum and diesel encouraged him to continue this work.
Transport car drivers on long lines found an opportunity to refuel cheap fuel, instead of buying it from militia-controlled areas at the high price.
However, carrying highly flammable materials in cars may pose a threat to their lives.
