Aden, NewsYemen:

The Central Bank of Yemen in Aden has summoned exchange companies to contribute to establishing the consolidated remittance network and to sign the shareholding and incorporation contract after agreeing on the share ratios.

The central bank said, in a telegram issued by the banking supervision sector to exchange companies, that the signature on the network will be on Sunday and Monday, corresponding to January 10 and 11, and no excuse will be accepted for default.

Last October, the Central Bank decided to control the transfer and exchange companies and their networks, most of which operate as a black market in Yemen, to restore control of the monetary cycle in Yemen.
