Hodeidah .. Thwarting a Houthi attack west of Hays and breaking an infiltration attempt across the Zabid line

On Saturday evening, the joint forces thwarted an attack by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, west of the city of Hays, south of Hodeidah, hours after the Houthi infiltration broke out in the Al-Jabaliya region.
A military source in the joint forces stated that elements of the Houthi militia carried out an attack from the areas under their control in the village of Hilla and the al-Ram farm, north of the Beit Maghari area, west of Hays, in a desperate attempt to breach the contact lines.
The source added that the joint forces fought violent confrontations with the attacking Houthi elements and forced them to retreat after a number of militia gunmen were killed and wounded.
The joint forces, during the past hours, broke an infiltration attempt by the Iranian arm, and put out fire sources that targeted populated villages south of Hodeidah, in western Yemen, which comes as part of its continuous violations of the ceasefire and its crimes against civilians.
A military source in the joint forces stated that the militias affiliated with Iran have pushed dozens of their members to try to infiltrate into farms and doors close to the lines of contact in the Al-Jabaliya area of the Al-Tuhayat District, and they have failed.
Stressing that the movements of infiltrating militias between the dense farms adjacent to the Zabid Line were monitored moment by moment and were quickly dealt with with success.
He also confirmed the killing and wounding of a number of infiltrating militia members, and forcing the rest to flee to their dens.
He pointed out that the militias opened fire with their machine guns on populated villages in the southeast of the mountain, as part of their crimes against civilians, which raised panic among the people, especially children and women.
He pointed out that the units stationed from the joint forces to secure the lives of the citizens in the mountain rushed to put out the sources of fire.
It is noteworthy that the joint forces yesterday quelled the massive movement of the Houthi militia, which included various sectors of the city and Hodeidah Governorate, and caused human and material losses.
