On Tuesday, the joint forces repelled an attack launched by the Houthi militia, the Iranian branch in Yemen, from three axes in Hays, south of Hodeidah, and the militia suffered severe losses.
A field military source told "NewsYemen", a on the Hays front, that the Houthi militia had pushed groups of its members to advance towards the joint forces' sites stationed on the front lines.
The source added that violent clashes broke out between the joint forces and the Houthi militia, and lasted for an hour and a half, and extended from the southern sector to the northern sector.
