The director of the Agricultural Bank branch in Mocha, Husam Abadi, said on Tuesday that the reopening of the bank branch in Mocha was due to several factors, including the availability of a safe investment environment.
Abadi added to NewsYemen, that the vision and directions of the leadership of the Credit Bank, represented by the CEO, required the restoration of the activities of the Mocha branch as a national mission aimed at re-normalizing life and contributing to the re-circulation of the wheel of development, as well as rebalancing the banking market.
He pointed out that the branch has resumed its activity in providing distinguished banking services in the banking market, including the CAC remittance service, through which the customer can easily send and receive remittances in the liberated areas with a reduced and competitive commission, indicating that the bank will launch a number of modern banking services at the beginning of the year 2021.
He called on all commercial institutions and national capital to invest in the city of Mokha, given the great urban expansion the city is witnessing, the many investment opportunities it enjoys, and a wide economic and commercial renaissance.
Three commercial banks operate in Mocha, as well as 19 branches of a banking company.
