The Southern Armed Forces repelled a violent attack by the terrorist Brotherhood militia, which it launched on the Al-Tiriya sectors in Wadi Sala and the coastal sector in Abyan.
The militias tried to mobilize all their elements and push with all their strength for the purpose of making any progress, and they launched three separate attacks, but all of their attacks were unsuccessful, as the south broke them and inflicted heavy losses on them.
A field source stated that the attackers received heavy equipment and lives, and others were captured, while the bodies of the rest were scattered in the deserts of Tabab al-Tiriya and the coastal and Wadi Sala sectors.
He said that the clashes stopped amid extreme caution, stressing that the militias had failed to achieve any penetration of the southern forces' positions.
