The return of terrorism to the roads protected by the Brotherhood’s army points in Shabwa

The official parties did not announce any position or even "opinion" regarding the suicide operation that targeted a convoy of the Arab coalition forces, specifically, a convoy of the Emirati, Bahraini and Shabwani Elite Forces, in Shabwa governorate, on the fourteenth of November.
The operation culminated in media campaigns, mobilization, and incitement for tribal revolts by the Brotherhood authorities, which controlled the “official decision” in Shabwa governorate after it was liberated by the Shabwani elite from al-Qaeda organizations, before the Brotherhood’s army intervened from Marib and the governorate’s authorities turned into an enemy of the elite and an ally of al-Qaeda.
According to observers in Shabwa, the Yemeni Brotherhood and the Shabwa Authority loyal to the group had the first role in the campaign against the coalition forces in the governorate, and al-Qaeda assumed the second role to complete the mission.
A source in Shabwa police said in an interview with "Newsyemen", how the suicide bomber was driving freely in his vehicle, on an international line, at checkpoints, and hundreds of soldiers belonging to the Brotherhood militia in the governorate.
He said, "More than four checkpoints are located in the Mayfa'a district, in which the suicide bomber detonated himself, and did not move even after the bombing," noting that "Al-Qaeda has knowledge in advance of the usual coalition forces movements in Shabwa."
On the eve of the terrorist bombing, the Director of the Culture Office in Shabwa, the Brotherhood Muhammad al-Ahmadi, said that in Shabwa authority they are capable of what he called the liberation of Balhaf from the coalition forces, but they do not want to destroy it.
Activists considered that such a conversation from a local official in the governorate reveals their resort to terrorist operations, knowing that “Balhaf” is established within the sovereign resources that belong to the government in partnership with international institutions that own it and does not follow the governor of the province in the normal situation, in addition to an exceptional situation like the one that Yemen is going through, which is in charge of the coalition administration of a military mission in it to confront Houthi terrorism, Al Qaeda and the Brotherhood.
Al-Qaeda or ISIS did not claim the operation until Monday, while the Shabwa Brotherhood Authority remained silent, which is similar to the situation in Wadi Hadhramaut, in which units of the same army loyal to the Brotherhood are deployed, and assassinations are spread, all of which are committed by unknown, and no one declares his responsibility and the authorities of the points are not suspended.
The terrorist bombings were absent in Shabwa during the presence of the Shabwani Elite in 2017-2018.
Some accuse the Brotherhood of moving al-Qaeda and that their areas have become a safe environment for the terrorist organization.
Lawyer Muhammad Ali Allaw accused the Muslim Brotherhood of sponsoring Al Qaeda.
Allaw told "Newsyemen" that Al-Qaeda is an armed terrorist organization affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, considering that the Brotherhood wants the south to implement their project and Turkey's next project, and that they also want to hand the north over to the Houthis.
The Yemeni lawyer added: The terrorist moves are the translation of the Istanbul cell agreement between the Brotherhood and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in 2014.
For his part, activist Muhammad Habtoor said that there are those who are pushing to bring terrorist groups into Shabwa again, and the most frightening scenario is the Abyan scenario between 2011-2012.
He added: After the departure of the Shabwani elite, no one was pursuing these groups anymore, so they breathed a sigh of relief, and today they are launching their operations and announcing their presence in the region again.
Habtoor asked: For whose interest is the coalition incited in the mosques, in the camps, and through its channels and media?
It is noteworthy that the elements of the terrorist organizations, from Al Qaeda and ISIS, have recently returned to Shabwa governorate, which indicates the existence of high-level coordination between the two parties.
