The weekly meeting of the local authority in Aden stressed "the continuation of coordination between the local authorities and the security services in the directorates, to ensure the preservation of the stable security situation in the capital."

According to the official report of the meeting, Governor Ahmed Hamid Lamlas told the two communities that the problems that the city suffers from are many and numerous, and it is difficult to solve them together, especially in light of the lack of capabilities, calling on everyone to “continue their efforts and optimize the use of resources.”

The meeting included directors of directorates and directors of both public works and roads, the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, and a representative of the State Land and Real Estate Authority, and the meeting assessed the level of implementation of the decisions of the previous meeting and the obstacles that hindered the implementation of some of those decisions, but the official news did not mention any details of the decisions.

However, he said that the meeting discussed developments in the service sector and the problem of random construction, and organizing the process of raising billboards in public streets by the authorities authorized to do so in accordance with the law.

And he approved the obligation of owners of shops, restaurants, pharmacies, cafeterias and other facilities to repair storefronts, paint doors, renew identification panels, and install surveillance cameras, and approved preparations for the implementation of a campaign to lift car bodies from the streets.
