The launch of the new school year in Aden and the minister admits that there are great difficulties

The Minister of Education in the caretaker government, Dr. Abdullah Lamlas, along with the governor of Aden, Ahmed Lamlas, on Sunday launched the new school year in all schools in the capital, Aden.

In a press statement, Minister Lamlas acknowledged, in a press statement, after the inauguration, that there are difficulties represented by the shortage of teachers, the textbook and the school building, especially in light of the continuation of the Corona pandemic, which imposed on the ministry to redistribute students to 15 students in each class, pointing out that through partnership and community cooperation, we will overcome these difficulties.

During the inauguration, which was attended by the Director of the UNICEF office in Aden, Charles Nzuki, the school bags provided by the Japanese grant through UNICEF were distributed to students of the first three grades of the Osan School in Al-Mualla.

The "NewsYemen" correspondent toured Aden schools, including Al-Gharabani School, where the parents expressed their joy for the return of school after it had stopped for several reasons, including the Covid 19 pandemic, and the teachers' strike preceded it.

The child "Maan" told "NewsYemen" that he feels overwhelmingly happy to be back in the classes and with the participation of his classmates, to make up for a missed school year in which many students' time was lost.
