Aden, NewsYemen:

The head of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, confirmed that the negotiating delegation of the Council presented its plan regarding the military relocation, and many of them were agreed upon, in the context of his discussion of the measures to be implemented to implement the Riyadh Agreement.

He said during his presidency, on Sunday, of the regular meeting of the Presidency of the Council, through video communication, that there will be no differences or discrepancies between the components of the south, stressing the application of the principle of parity.

Al-Zubaidi stressed that the leadership of the Transitional Council pays great attention to all issues at home and works to solve them with the concerned authorities, especially the issue of late salaries for southern soldiers, indicating that there are daily efforts being made to address them.

He pointed out that the Transitional Council supports their demands, and sets their entitlements as a priority and will remain in addition to their legitimate rights that he will never give up, stressing on the other hand that their deprivation may not cause additional harm to citizens who live in difficult circumstances, as the procedures of the sit-down worsen them.

Al-Zubaidi appreciated the efforts of Ahmed Hamed Lamas, Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Council, Governor of the capital, Aden, and the response of the sit-in leadership to stop the damage caused by the recent measures to the lives of all citizens.

For his part, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly, affirmed the continuation of his meetings with the southern components, in accordance with the principle of "south-south" dialogue pursued by the Council, praising the efforts made to release the detainees in the exchange process with the Brotherhood militias.

The meeting reviewed the perceptions of the effectiveness of the celebration of the 57th anniversary of the glorious October 14th Revolution, the paragraphs of the celebration program, the tasks of the members of the Preparatory Committee, and the mechanism for media preparation for it, and the meeting took the necessary action in this regard.

The meeting also stood in front of a series of developments on the national arena, foremost of which is the inauguration of the new school year across all schools, and the teachers and students' response to the governor’s call to regularize their schools, stressing the importance of science to overcome the policy of ignorance that the enemies of the south wanted for our people during the past decades.
