The Qatari-backed Hammoud al-Mikhlafi militia stormed the Abu al-Dhahab Girls School in Bani Ghazi in the al-Shamaytain district and took it as a military barracks.
In a letter to the director of the Shamayatain Directorate and the Education Office in the district, the head of the school, Arwa Al-Zaghir, demanded to evacuate the school from militias and not converted to a military barracks.
For his part, the director of the Education Office in Al-Shamayatain sent a letter to the director of the directorate requesting that he communicate with the competent authorities to prevent the school from being converted to a military site.
The Al-Mikhlafi militias take from military schools in Bani Omar, Dubaa and Bani Ghazi in Al-Shamayatain military sites, while the Taiz axis seeks to remove the brigade's forces from 35 armored units and enable the Al-Mikhlafi-backed militias from Qatar to control the areas of Al-Hujariyah.
