The General People's Congress and human rights distribute aid to the displaced in Hays

On Monday, the leadership of the General People's Congress in the West Coast, and the Human Rights Office in Hodeidah Governorate, distributed shelter aid to the displaced people in the city of Hays.

Khaled Al-Ashbat, director of the conference in the west coast, and director of the Human Rights Office, Fathia Al-Ma’amari, provided tents for the displaced in the district.

Al-Ashbat expressed his thanks to the Emirati Red Crescent and the philanthropists for their assistance to the displaced who could not bear the brunt of the Iranian Houthi militias, calling on all humanitarian and relief organizations to deal with transparency and give more attention to the displaced.

For her part, Professor Fathiya Al-Maamari urged workers in the relief and shelter field to support the operational projects of the displaced in a way that supports providing them with livelihoods, expressing regret the almost complete absence of relief institutions and organizations from many camps for the displaced.

She said that the displaced people are in urgent need of support after their suffering was a means of trading by the Houthi militia to achieve special interests.

To that, displaced people expressed their gratitude for the leadership of the conference in the West Coast and the Human Rights Office in Hodeidah and the Emirati Red Crescent for their contribution in alleviating their suffering in light of the humanitarian organizations' marginalization of the displaced people in the Directorate
