Southern political analyst and activist, director of the Aden Research Center in Washington and official spokesman for the South Youth Forum in America, Ahmed Al-Saleh, mocked the crying, wailing of activists and leaders of the Islah Party on Socotra after the southern forces took control of it.
He said in his tweet: "If half of the weeping, wailing and anger over the loss of Socotra, happened over the loss of Sanaa, it would not have fallen into the hands of Al-Houthi and remained to this day."
He added: "It is a shame for a homeless crying on an island in the Arabian Sea and forgetting his home and his family at the mercy of Houthi."
