Houthi militia closes huge neighborhood infested with "Corona"

Local residents said Thursday that the Houthi militia has closed the area of Aqaun street in the center of the capital Sanaa under its control, due to the fearof a frightening outbreak of coronavirus in the area.
A resident of the neighborhood told Newsyemen that the militia informed residents of a large neighborhood that it was an infested area of Corona.
He said the Houthis used loudspeakers in mosques to urge residents to stay in doors and that a huge street neighborhood was closed.
Cars also roamed the neighborhood speakers and issued warnings to residents that the area had become a focus of the Corona virus.
He said there were cars belonging to militias who roamed the streets and neighborhoods, warning loudspeakers not to leave homes, and that a huge area had become the epicenter of the epidemic in Sana'a.
