Two ballistic missiles from Sanaa fall in Amran and Saada

The spokesperson for the coalition forces in Yemen, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia launched today, Tuesday 5 May 2020, two ballistic missiles from the Sana'a governorate using civilian objects for the launch sites.


The first missile fell after a distance of "121" km in the "Amran" governorate, and the second missile landed after a distance of "148" km in the province of "Saada".

 Colonel Al-Maliki affirmed that the Houthi militia continues to violate international humanitarian law by launching ballistic missiles and indiscriminately striking civilians, as well as population gatherings that threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians.


Colonel Al-Maliki stated that these hostilities and launches using ballistic missiles represent a continuation of the Houthi terrorist militia's penetrations of the ceasefire and de-escalation initiative that the coalition announced and started on “April 9, 2020, where the total violations amounted to more than 2,400 penetrations, using all types of light and heavy weapons.
