Armed clashes took place on Friday between the joint southern forces on one side, and the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on the other hand, north of Al-Dhale’ governorate


Field sources said that clashes with various heavy, medium and light weapons broke out between the two parties in "Hajar", in conjunction with clashes in the Subira and Battar regions.

During the battles of the past hours, the Houthi militia received a severe blow after the field leader, Brigadier Al-Sayaghi, was killed with dozens of elements after trying to advance towards the southern forces ’positions in the Subirah front, according to" Newsyemen "sources.


The sources added that the "Hajar" front witnessed fierce confrontations, which lasted hours between the southern forces and the Houthis, after a major attack by the latter.

It stated that the southern forces had crushed a series of attacks by the Houthi militia in the Subira-al-Jub sector and the Battar sector, after violent battles that lasted for nearly 10 hours.

Whereas, the Houthi militia brought military reinforcements to the Subira area, which includes armed groups, on board several combat crews.
