Sanaa, Newsyemen, Najwa Ismail:

The Ministry of Education, which is controlled by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has announced the submission of the final exams date for the current academic year for all grades of basic and secondary levels.

The Ministry of Education, run by Yahya al-Houthi, brother of militia leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, approved the submission of tests until March 28.

Meanwhile, Yusef Al-Hadhri, a spokesman for the Houthi government’s Ministry of Public Health, did not acknowledge that providing final exams to all primary and secondary school students as a precaution as a result of the appearance of the Corona virus in neighboring countries.

Activists were surprised at the Houthi militia taking examinations for school students, while no cases of Coronavirus were announced.

The move raised many doubts about the presence of Coronavirus infections in the Houthi militia-controlled areas, and it is keeping it tight.

Educators and activists ridiculed the Houthi decision, especially since the countries in which the Corona epidemic appeared suspended the study and gatherings to limit the spread of the virus, while the Houthi militia action made the risk greater in the event of infections.
