Khatima Waheeb, a humanitarian activist in Al Alili camp, told NewsYemen that the four-year-old girl, Khatour Mastour, suffered serious burns that led to her death while being transferred to hospital for treatment.
She added that the fire that hit 13 tents also consumed food materials distributed in the morning to the camp's displaced.
The fire was brought under control before it spread to the rest of the camp, which houses about 200 families.
Al-Alili camp witnessed a number of fires during the past year, but no injuries were reported.
