Sanaa, Newsyemen, Najwa Ismail:

Houthi militias have arrested a number of citizens who rent buildings that belong to the Ministry of Endowments in the capital, Sana'a, which is under its control.

Local residents said that the Houthi militia stormed the fifth building in the Tahrir neighborhood, in the middle of Sana'a, and arrested Salim Numan, Abdul Hamid Al-Dhayani and Osama Abu Bakr, and others on the pretext of not paying the rents.

Tenants of endowment buildings are under constant threat of eviction from the homes of the Houthi militia, although some have been renting their apartment for more than thirty years.

The Houthi militia is launching a campaign of arrests of endowment tenants, despite the difficult living conditions caused by the interruption of salaries of government sector employees for more than three years in a row.
