The London Arab newspaper said on Tuesday that the state of confusion in the ranks of Yemeni "legitimacy", the imbalance in the management of the political and military file is one of the results of the escalating Turkish role in the Yemeni file, and the negative impact of Ankara on Turkey's current in the Yemeni Brotherhood.
The newspaper quoted political sources as saying that the pro-Ankara current contributed to dispersing the list of priorities of the legitimate government and caused fueling internal differences in the camp against the Houthi coup.
“The Arabs” said that it had obtained confirmed information on the issuance of directives to a number of Yemeni political leaders affiliated with the Brotherhood, in announcing the rapprochement paper with the Houthis, with the aim of blackmailing the Arab coalition, and besieging any attempts to press towards redressing imbalances in the legitimate institutions that suffer from the Brotherhood’s oppression and control of Turkey - Qatar brotherhoods.
It pointed to previous reports that monitored indicators of increasing Turkish activity in Yemen through the flow of Turkish intelligence agents, through the outlets of Al-Mahra Governorate (the far east of Yemen) under the cover of the Humanitarian Relief Organization, to some liberated Yemeni provinces, and fueling political and media rhetoric against the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia through Media channels broadcast from the Turkish city of Istanbul, which has turned into a favorite of many Yemeni political and media leaders affiliated with the Islah Party
Many observers point out that the Turkish-Iranian rapprochement has been strikingly reflected in the course of events in the Yemeni file, as anti-Arab rhetoric from inside the "legitimacy" has escalated recently.
There were many calls for the formation of a new coalition in Yemen to confront the Arab coalition countries, and other Yemeni components that do not owe allegiance to the Brotherhood, such as the Transitional Council and the National Resistance led by Brigadier Tariq Saleh, and other political currents such as the anti-Houthi Congress Party and the Nasserites.
According to the newspaper, Ankara has provided a safe haven to many militant symbols from the Yemeni Brotherhood and those wanted by security on the back of political issues, such as the perpetrators of the bombing Presidential House mosque that targeted former President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the pillars of his rule in 2011, in addition to receiving people listed on terrorist lists issued on behalf of the US Treasury, and some controversial Yemeni leaders, due to its relationship with the Al-Nusra Front and armed groups in Syria.
Turkey has turned into a favorite destination for Qatar-funded media channels to confuse the Yemeni scene and target Arab coalition countries, as it broadcasts several Brotherhood channels, funded by Doha, from Istanbul such as Balqis, Yemen Shabab and Al-Mahriya.
