On Saturday, Arab coalition fighters launched a series of air strikes on targets of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in the northeastern province of Al-Jawf.
Field sources said that coalition air strikes targeted several Houthi locations in Al-Yatma Front, Khub and Al-Shaaf district.
It reported that coalition fighters launched 5 air strikes on locations and reinforcements of the Houthi militia, in the areas of Al-Dhahra, Ar-Rubaa and Bir al-Hamdi.
The raids coincided with violent clashes between government forces, on the one hand, and the Houthi militia, on the other, in the Khub and Al-Shaaf district border with Saudi Arabia.
Earlier on Saturday, military sources said that the Houthi militia launched an intense attack on the Salila front in al-Yatma region.
It added that the Houthi militia imposed a blockade on the Khub and Al-Shaaf district on two sides, expected to fall within hours, and as a desert region, representing 70% of the area of Al-Jawf.
Sources indicated that the Houthi militia is seeking to topple Al-Yatma Front and tighten the siege on the legitimate forces in the Khub and Al-Shaaf district.
