Journalist Saleh Al-Baidhani revealed shocking information that a minister in the government of interim President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi was linked to the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.
"The Ministry of Communications in the legitimate government has become one of the most serious weaknesses as a result of its suspected performance and the association of many of its leaders with the corruption networks in Sana'a and Aden alike," said al-Baydani, in a series of tweets on his Twitter account.
He stressed that Lotfi Bashrif, Minister of Communications in the Hadi government, was blocking any attempts to separate control of the Internet, post and all systems still run by the Houthis.
He stated that some of those around him (Bashrif) visit the Houthi-controlled areas on a regular basis, adding that his ministry "is still completely managed from the Al-Jarf in Sanaa".
Al-Baidhani said, in another tweet: "The Houthis were able to plant many elements within the corruption networks in legitimacy so that those elements receive the self-protection provided by the lobby of influential corruption and solicitation."
He concluded by saying: "If the person in charge of legitimacy wants to become a hero, he can hold the Arab coalition responsible for failure at any time, while he cannot even imply the role of corruption networks so that his interests are not damaged and he loses his position."
