Engineering teams in the joint forces on the west coast managed to remove and dismantle an explosive missile weighing 500 kilograms of Houthi militia south of Hodeidah on Tuesday.
A source in the engineering teams stated that the teams found the missile head and dismantled it at the outskirts of a farm in the area of Ghulaifqa, which belongs to the Al-Durahimi Directorate.
And the engineering teams have previously removed and dismantled hundreds of similar missile warheads that militias have converted and planted in minefields on public roads, citizen farms and residential neighborhoods before they were defeated.
In early October, the engineering forces of the joint forces dismantled a similar explosive missile head weighing 500 kg, which was planted by the Houthi militias in the Al-Tur area of the Al-Duraimi Directorate.
Missile warheads and explosive missiles are one of the types and forms of explosives and devices planted by militias, as well as minefields in vast areas of the West Coast and Tuhama.
In early January, the joint forces demining engineering team was dismantled, a bomb weighing 80 kilograms, one meter long, planted by the Houthi militia east of the city of Hodeidah.
