“Masam” destroys 556 mines and Houthi devices in Al-Dhale‘

The Saudi Mine Clearance Project, in Yemen (Masam), announced the implementation of the first mine-destroying and detonation operation in Al-Azareq district in Al-Dhale’ governorate.
"Team 18 experts destroyed 556 mines, an explosive device, and an unexploded ordnance, planted by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia in Al-Arareq district," the project said, in a statement, on Monday.
The destruction operation included 231 anti-personnel mines, 63 explosive devices, 30 anti-vehicle mines in addition to hundreds of unexploded ordnance.
It is noteworthy that the mines, explosive devices and projectiles planted by the Houthi militia in the fronts of North Dhale’ have claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians, including children and women.
