A child was injured, at dawn on Monday, in the bombing by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on populated villages in the Al-Zahir district of Al-Bayda Governorate, in the center of the country.
Local sources in the Al-Zahir Directorate said that the Houthi militias bombed the villages of Al-Habaj Al-Humaiqan area with artillery shells and various calibres, wounding one of the children.
It explained that the 12-year-old “Hazza Matloub Abdullah” was injured by shrapnel of one of the shells, with various wounds to his body, and he was transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Since its invasion of Al-Bayda Governorate about five years ago, the Houthi militia has deliberately targeted the civilian population, killing and injuring people, and causing extensive damage to homes and property.
