The Ministry of Health and Population denied the truth of the news circulating about the transfer of Yemeni students from China to Aden and the provision of a quarantine for them in Al-Sadaqa hospital.
On Tuesday, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Abdul Raqeeb Al-Haidari, posted on Facebook: "There is no truth to what is being published about the transfer of Yemeni students from Wuhan to Aden."
He added: "And there is no agreement between the Ministry of Health and the UAE to provide a quarantine center in the capital, Aden, to transfer our students in China to it."
Local media and activists circulated news about an Emirati request for Yemen regarding a quarantine in Aden to receive Corona patients in it, but the health denied this categorically.
The health office in Aden stopped providing quarantine in Al-Sadaqa Hospital as part of preparations to face any possibilities of the new epidemic of Corona, after a public uproar and the hospital staff refused completely, as it is located in a crowded residential neighborhood.
