The southern politician, Ahmed Omar bin Farid, described the decision of the interim president, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, to appoint Muhammad Ali Yasir, as the new governor of Al-Mahra, as "the most reckless and decisive decision", stressing that Hadi was dependent on his deputy, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar.
In a tweet on his Twitter account, Bin Farid said: “Every day Hadi proves that he is absolutely dependent on his deputy, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, and he looks with the least respect for the south, its people and its cause.”
The Southern Leader added: "With such an incendiary decision, all of this is confirmed, and with such a senseless decision, we make sure that Hadi is nothing but a precious ring in the hand of his deputy, and that he is a man who has been made to hate and hatred, and that he is not fully qualified."
