The Houthi militia, last week closed one of the largest tourist cafes in the capital, Sanaa, without any legal justification.

In a communiqué, “Coffee Corner” Administration said that Alwahdah Directorate in the capital Sana'a, forcibly closed the Cafe building last week, without any justification or legal action.

"Corner was raided and the existing pioneers were dealt with in an inappropriate manner by employees of the Alwahdah Directorate," it added. "They closed the building and started writing on the interior glass gates."

The report considered, "This unlawful behavior is an unprecedented precedent in the nature of the directorates’ work and its competencies, and the way it deals with the sectors of business and tourist facilities. "
