An army field advance in Al-Ghail front in Al-Jawf and the death of Houthi leaders

The National Army announced a new progress in Al-Jawf, after battles it fought against the Houthi militia.

A military source said that the army forces were able to restore sites in the new sector of the 127th Brigade, which are Almuhazmat, Almaqate and Black Hill.

The army forces also captured dozens of Houthi militias and recovered light and medium weapons while tackling the militia’s detour in the Ghail Front.

The source confirmed that the militia's dead were killed, including a leader called Shamsan Abu Activean, one of the elders of the Arhab tribe.

The mountain hills of Mount Yam witnessed violent battles between the National Army and Houthi militias, and they are still continuing, with the support of coalition aircraft, who have intensified raids targeting militia sites and reinforcements.

According to Newsyemen's sources, more than 15 Houthi militia were killed and others were injured while trying to infiltrate the national army positions in the Gersheb mountain range in Al-Jawf governorate.

A military source said that the army forces in the Gersheb mountain range repelled an attack by militia groups to their positions, and confrontations between the two sides resulted in the death of more than 15 members and the wounding of others.

The Arab coalition aircraft launched several accurate and direct raids on the Al-Ghail front, Almuhazamat and Garsheb targeting the militia and its weapons store and combat mechanisms.

In this context, the Houthi militia announced, on Sunday, the killing of the leader Hassan Jaradi. Al-Jaradi from Jumaa Bin Fadel district, Haidan district of Saada.

For the fourth consecutive week, Al-Jawf fronts are witnessing battles between the army, backed by the Arab coalition, and the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, at various fighting axes in the governorate.
