Four girls, all under the age of eighteen, were injured as a result of a projectile explosion by the Houthi militia in Isolat Bajah, in the center of Hajar, northwest of Al Dhale', and they were taken to Al-Nasr General Hospital in the Governorate Center.

A medical source explained that all the victims sustained separate injuries distributed in the chest, hands, legs and face, and are now hospitalized for treatment, all of whom are in stable condition.

According to the families of the victims, Fatima Matanoush Qasim Ahmad - 14 years, Amat al-Alim Qasim Salih Muhammad - 15 years, and Amat al-Rahman Muhammad Ahmed 15 years, and Amat al-Khaleq Muhammad Ahmed 17 years old. They were in one of the valleys west of the isolation of Bajah, collecting firewood to be surprised by the explosion, after they saw the projectile and moved it.

The people of Hajar appealed to the competent authorities to send more engineering teams to remove mines and clear their villages, farms and roads of mines, explosive devices and explosives, which were heavily planted by the Houthi militias before they were defeated in the battle of the 8 of October last year.

Hajar and western areas of the city of Qataba have witnessed a series of similar incidents since the Houthi militias were defeated, of which the victims are often women and children.

About two weeks ago, a child lost one of his legs as a result of a landmine explosion in the isolation of Ribi.
