Informed sources revealed the arrest of a military official in the Yemeni Defense Ministry in Marib, on charges of collaborating with the Houthi militia.

Sources and activists reported that the house of the warehouse manager of the Support and Logistical Support Authority was raided on Friday evening, and that he and his daughter's husband were arrested.

On Saturday, activist and media worker Hafedh Mutair said: The house of Khaled Al-Amir was raided yesterday evening in the city of Ma'rib, who was running the warehouse manager in the backup and logistical support committee headed by Major General Ahmed Al-Wali, who appointed him as director of the stores.

He confirmed the arrest of him and his daughter's husband on charges of working for the Houthi militia.

He added, "With his mobile, he seized several dangerous videos serving the Houthi militia."

This incident comes in light of the increasing pressure and demands to purify the military post and the structure of the Ministry of Defense from the breakthroughs in sensitive departments and sites, especially after a setback and the risks to Marib and the fierce battles taking place in Al-Jawf.
