Local residents told Newsymen that security chaos is spreading in the capital, Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, iran's arm in Yemen.

Armed gangs are spreading in the N'Qnq neighborhood, east of the capital, and are terrorizing citizens in various ways, amid the complicity of the Houthi militia, residents said.

They explained that gangs burned or stolen cars and motorcycles of citizens during the night.

They confirmed that car burning incidents have been repeated recently, in the Neighborhood of N'ta'a and surrounding neighborhoods.

A citizen, who preferred not to be named, said that his car was burned a few days ago while parked in front of the house where he lives, and that the Houthi militia did not take any action to arrest the perpetrators.

Unknown assailants also burned a car owned by a girl living in the same neighbourhood, as well as someone else's motorcycle, he said.

Armed gangs are deployed in Sana'a, carrying out kidnappings of teenage girls and young women, amid accusations by the Houthis of running organized kidnapping networks.

In addition to kidnappings, the capital, Sana'a, is witnessing large-scale robberies on state land and citizens, carried out by leaders of the Houthi militia by force of arms.
