The sources pointed out that the militia leaders in Amran Governorate, in addition to some preventive security officers, contacted the leaders of the conference in Amran and threatened them with arrest if they insisted on holding the meeting, and they also sent a number of their militia crews to the conference headquarters building in Amran and prevented the party leaders from entering it To hold arranged meetings for an expanded meeting.

It is not the first time that Houthi militias threaten the conference leaders in Amran Governorate and prevent them from holding their meetings, as these threats have been repeated many times.


The Houthi militias fear any activities held by the conference leaders in their areas of control, especially the governorates surrounding the capital, Sanaa, because they realize that these meetings always show the strong positions of rejection by the rules and the leadership of the militias.
