A source in the operations of the security belt forces in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, stated that a transport ship found the bodies of two fishermen inside their boat after losing them in the Arabian Sea.

The source indicated in a special statement that a medium-sized cargo ship belonging to a Yemeni merchant had found two fishermen dead bodies while a third fisherman with them on board the boat was still missing.

He added that the boat was found in the international waters near Somalia, where the two bodies were transported by the ship's crew to the coast of Shakra, and delivered to the families of those who died as a result of hunger and thirst.

The source asserted that the three fishermen did not have sufficient supplies to survive all these days except for foodstuffs and enough water to stay fifteen days since their boat disappeared and lost them at sea.

"NewsYemen" had published the news of the loss of the three fishermen, namely Ali Abdullah Hassan Sanfour Al-Qari (45), Saeed Ali Abdullah Sanafour Al-Qari (11) and Abu Bakr Fawzi Abu Bakr Khamis Al-Koudi (13) years.

On the 26th of last January, the three fishermen lost in the Arabian Sea during a fishing trip off the coast of the city of Ahur in Abyan Governorate.
