Heavy fighting north of Al-Da'ala

Violent clashes broke out saturday between the joint southern forces on the one hand, and the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on the other hand, on the fronts of the northwest of the central province of Al-Dalla.

On Saturday, southern forces responded to simultaneous Houthi attacks on the fronts of Al-Jab, Battar, Al-Mhughand and Markhaz, north of Al-Da'al.

She said that clashes, which she described as violent, broke out between the two sides in the Bab Al-Sa'ad area and continued for hours intermittently.

Southern forces' artillery targeted houthi militia concentrations in the Sabara and Nabija areas.

According to the sources, the shelling destroyed a military group carrying a medium weapon and killed a number of Houthi militiamen in the village of Sabra, northwest of Qataba.

In the context, military sources in Al-Dalla revealed information about the southern forces monitoring the arrival of large reinforcements of the Houthi militia to the north of the province.

It showed that the militia had brought reinforcements to the contact areas of Qataba district, led by Abu al-Ezz al-Huthi.
