"Saudi Arabia's position in many countries is consistent with this trend, with the exception of Yemen," al-Awlaki said in a tweet on his Twitter account monitored by the editor of "Newsyemen."

"The Kingdom has the right to act as it wants in accordance with its policies, but it makes no sense to impose this organization on any people and it prohibits it in the kingdom itself."

In another tweet, a member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council said: "Qassim al-Rimi would not have resided in Marib without the political and security cover that was provided to him, and had he not been killed by an American raid in which he would have lived for the rest of his life."

"The elite forces and the security belt provided a great example in the fight against terrorism, and the cities of the south were cleansed of this scourge, which is why Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and the Reform Party have fought it since its founding," al-Awlaki said.
